Have you ever wondered what defines a more fulfilled life? What do you genuinely believe makes life fulfilling?

It’s a satisfying life—a life well lived. You might want to know why it’s worth exploring because it will help you achieve your potential or desires in life.

Here’s the misconception I see. Most people think having lots of money or material possessions leads to a more fulfilled life. But this is false because some people have worked through that part and discovered it’s false. And that leads me to explore the key elements.

What are the secrets to living a more fulfilled life?

  1. Purpose and passions in life
  2. Personal growth
  3. Meaningful relationships

PURPOSE & PASSIONS

To live a genuinely fulfilling life, you must know your purpose and passions in your daily life, which will lead you to work towards that purpose and passion in your daily life. It’s the starting point if you want to live a fulfilling life.

PERSONAL GROWTH

For you to live a fulfilling life, you need to evolve daily. Don’t let circumstances take you by surprise. You always have to prepare ahead. Learn from your daily situation, both good and bad.

MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS

To live a genuinely fulfilling life, you must be selective about your relationships. Do you know why? Because everything that comes around will want to take your time. Who are you willing to prioritise your time for? Are these people worth your time? Because having a meaningful relationship takes time.

Also, to live a fulfilling life, you should seek positive relationships, not toxic ones, because positive ones will bring you fulfilment in your daily life.

Here comes my personal story.

I have always wanted to live a fulfilled life for myself. I have always been careful in the relationships I make. So, one day, my husband wants me to be friends with one of his colleague’s wives at the office.

However, one day, the lady came to my house, and the day she came, I was baking a birthday cake for one of my children. So, as we were discussing, she said something I couldn’t believe if I was to hear it from another person. And that thing is that she has an intimate male friend in another city, and she was trying to introduce me to the system.

Moreover, to cut a long story short, I wasn’t happy hearing what she was saying anymore, so I continued with the cake I was making. Then she finalised the whole thing by telling me that I have time to do all these, that she doesn’t have the time to make cakes for her children, and that even if she’s going to make anything, it will be cupcakes. Still, she didn’t have the time.

With all that she had said, I knew she was not the type of friend or relationship I wanted for myself because she was not living a responsible life and didn’t have time for the things I had time for and valued.

Conclusion

In summary, working towards your purpose and passions, personal growth, and meaningful relationships make life fulfilling. Finally, remember to pursue these things because they truly matter and give you that satisfying life.
